Utes to Expand Tennis Camps

Salt Lake City, UT – After a very successful fall camp season, the University of Utah mens’ tennis team has announced its 2016 spring and summer camp schedule. In order to accommodate high demand, the Utes have had to expand the program.

“It’s been so much fun to work with all the kids,” said head coach Roeland Brateanu. “It’s a great opportunity for us to get to work with the kids in the community and for them to get to know both the players on the team, as well as our coaching staff.”

The Utes will offer 3 fall camps and 2 summer camps to start the 2016 tennis season. Fall camps will be offered in Red Dot (Ages 7 & under), Orange Dot (Ages 8-10) and a Junior Camp (Ages 10-18) and are available from Monday through Thursday after school:

Fall Camp 1: January 25, 2016 – March 3, 2016 Register Now!
Fall Camp 2: March 7, 2016 – April 13, 2016 Registration Opens 12/1
Fall Camp 3: May 2, 2016 – May 26, 2016 Registration Opens 12/1

The Utes will host two 1-week summer camps in June. Summer camps are all-day camps Monday through Friday and include instruction, games, conditioning drills and match play. Lunch is provided is provided at the new athlete only cafeteria in the Spence & Cleone Eccles Football Facility, located immediately south of the Eccles Tennis Center.

Make sure to sign the mandatory waiver documentation and pay BEFORE attending the first day of camp. By NCAA rule, it’s not permissible for anyone without proper registration documentation and payment to participate in any camp.
