The 2015 ITA All-American Championships are set to start today without sophomore captain Egbert Weverink. The dutch native injured his knee and has returned to Salt Lake City for further evaluation. Freshman Dan Little will stand in as Matt Cowley‘s doubles partner on Monday.

Sophomore Freddie McGeehan is set kick off the tournament for the Utes at 10.30am today when he squares off against Julian Zlobinsky (University of Texas) at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Freshman Dan Little, who cruised through his draw at last week’s Utah Invitational, will face Sam Giammalva (Texas A&M), while senior Matt Cowley will face off against Daniel Santos (Tulsa) at 3.00pm

All players will have to win 4 rounds over the next 2 days to earn a spot in the qualifying tournament, which is set to start on Monday. Junior Parker McGuiness will automatically start in the qualifying draw, based on last year’s regional ranking.
