Utah Falls to No. 7 USC

LOS ANGELES – The University of Utah men’s tennis team (10-9, 0-3 Pac-12) was shut out by No. 7 USC (17-3, 3-0 Pac-12) Friday at Marks Stadium.

The Trojans clinched the doubles point behind wins at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions and maintained the momentum in singles play with six-straightvictories. The match was decided at 4-0 when freshman Johan Jonhagen was defeated by USC’s No. 68 Nick Crystal at the No. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-1.

The Utes return to action Saturday against No. 15 UCLA (12-6, 3-0 Pac-12) at Los Angeles Tennis Center at 1 p.m. PT. The match will be televised on the Pac-12 Mountain network.
