Utah Swept by No. 30 California


BERKELEY, Calif. –
 The University of Utah men’s tennis team (10-8, 0-2 Pac-12) was defeated by No. 30 California (14-5, 2-0 Pac-12) Saturday at the Hellman Tennis Complex.

The Golden Bears secured the doubles point following wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Cal maintained the momentum behind victories at No. 5 and No. 2 singles to put the Bears up 3-0. Oskar Wikberg clinched the overall match for Cal after netting a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Junior Matt Cowley at the No. 4 spot.

The Utes return to action against No. 6 USC (16-3, 2-0 Pac-12) at Markson Stadium, April 3 at 3 p.m. PT.
