The NCAA announced its multi-year Academic Performance Report (APR) for NCAA Division I schools and for the third year in a row the University of Utah men’s tennis earned a perfect 1000 APR.
The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation of all student-athletes on scholarship, and provides a measure of each team’s academic performance.
The Utes, in their 2nd season in the Pac-12, finished for the 2nd straight year on top in the Pac-12 Conference.
Five other Utah athletics programs had perfect APRs, while ten teams saw increases. As a whole, Utah set a record for APR success in 2012/2013 with an average of 981, breaking last year’s record of 978.
